At 20 minutes away you can drop clubs off and collect them without making a day of it. That makes a few things practical that otherwise are not:

• Regripping — bring the set in, we go through size and material with you before anything comes off.
• Club fitting — shaft, lie and length checked properly rather than guessed from a chart.
• Trying shoes on — the single biggest cause of golf returns is sizing, and it disappears when you try them.
• Junior club rental — $79 a year with a free size exchange as they grow, which only works if swapping is easy. From Surrey, it is.
